  1. I got this engine for my Pilot RC Sbach 342, while I was not convinced by RCGF at first, (was originally going to buy a DLE 61 or a DA 60), a fellow friend and experienced modeler recommended me this engine, also contacted me with the local RCGF distributor, which also uses this same engine on his Inverza 62, after the first runs on the ground and a few flights later all I can say this is a very solid engine, reliable, and very very powerful, it pulls my Sbach no problem during vertical climbs and take off.
The only drawbacks are that the muffler is useless, most people will use a canister or in my case a wraparound Pitts muffler, if I used the included one, the hole on my cowl would have been massive, they should offer a muffler-less version. Also the hub is with 6 screws, which proved to be a massive pain when looking for aftermarket spinners (most of them come pre drilled with 4 screws). Overall and with those minor annoyances out of the way, it is a great value engine, definitively I would not doubt to buy another RCGF engine

  3. I put this engine to my Gernot Bruckmann YAK-55 2,3m airframe. This YAK-55 has a very big frontal surface, but as you can see in this video this engine can accelerate the plane to make very fast low pass and keeps the plane light to make slow rolls and angular maneuvers even immediately after take off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLilDcOlE6o
I am so satisfied what this engine can provide; light weight and so much power. To my next 120cc airframe I am know what to choose to competitional purpose: I am sure the RCGF 120cc twin engine will have same good weight/power ratio at good price.

My son’s and I fly 1/3 scale Miles Reed weeks solution x ‘s typically you want to put as big of an engine as you can fit in it’s spacious cowl we have used as large as 4.7 twins. But these engines spec wise don’t have the horsepower that some of the newer single 3.7 have at much lesser weight so we have tried quite a few. I flew my weeks today with the rcgf cnc 60 side ex. Swinging a 22×10 @ 6920 rpm the power was second to none unlimited vertical the vibration was extremely low the best in any single we have used to date including the dle. Outside of it’s superb power the cnc machining is awesome nice job !! starts were typical for this type of engine. If the durability is as good as it looks and performs you have a real winner and I’m confident that it will be that’s why between my son’s and I we own 3 of them
